What: Land Navigation Course

Where: Camp Bullis: Range Control, 4880 Wilkerson Rd, San Antonio, TX 78257

Why: Increase EM Resident/EMPA readiness for follow-on assignments in the operational force

Uniform of the Day: OCPs (NO civilian roughs)

Details: We will meet at the Range Control parking lot at 0945 and shuttle to the land navigation site. There will be an introductory class to familiarize with compasses, pace count, and map reading/plotting. There will be a follow-on land navigation competition in teams. We will provide maps, protractors, pencils, compasses, index cards, pace count beads.

Recommended additional items: Sunglasses/eye pro (in compliance with Army/AF regulation), your own compass/pacer count beads if you have them, water source/hydration salts, snacks, bug spray/sunscreen, epipen if you have a hx anaphylaxis.
